Save Henry
Dec. 8th, 2013 02:32 pmHey! As I'm caught up with OUAT for the first time in ages (and as that will only last a few more hours) – anyone want to talk about it? I made a post about 3x09 on my own journal, but I just mean that as a possible starting point, I'm happy to discuss something else (or to read anyone else's reaction posts).
Personally
I'm very happy they're returning to Storybrooke: I didn't like Neverland very much. I thought Regina was fantastic in it, I loved the story of Henry's arrival (though I'm wondering: is that it? Just fate that he got there, no outside meddling?).
Also: are we sure Rumple wasn't going to murder Henry? It didn't look very good at the end of Nasty Habits, and it's not like he got the chance since.

I agree also that Rumple's motivations may not be as benign as they seem.
Don't know how I feel about the endless emphasis on the Power of Motherhood. I suppose it's true to fairytale properties, but it's kind of boring as a plot device/motivation over and over.

Right? About Rumple. He and Neal seem beautifully/depressingly at cross-purpose all the time.
Hm you have a point, about motherhood. Though I'm going to be happy about anything that makes Pan less smug, and he's good issues with mothers.
